Two straight for LBC men
LBC 70, VF Christian 65
The Lancaster Bible men's basketball team won its biggest game of the season on Thursday night, defeating Valley Forge Christian, 70-65 at Horst Athletic Center.
Senior Keith Keltner had a team-high 17 points and added five assists as the Chargers (4-18) won back-to-back games for the first time all season.
Sophomore Corey Leonard (Lancaster Mennonite) added 14 points for the Chargers, while Dan Karl, Jon Bird and CJ Dunston each had 10 points.
Trailing 65-64 with under a minute to play, Keltner hit a three-pointer with 53 seconds to play that gave LBC the lead for good as the Patriots (13-11) turned it over on their next possession.
Lance Harris led the Patriots with 25 points.
