Boxing

Two local boxers, Isaac Suarez and Brandon Haddad, have bouts scheduled for Saturday's pro-am card at the Roadway Inn in Allentown. At 130 pounds, Suarez, a professional, is scheduled to fight Frank De Alba. At 136 pounds, Haddad, an amateur, is scheduled to fight Juan Morales. Tickets are available at Clean Cut Barbers, 753 South Beaver Street. General admission costs $35. Doors open at 7:15 p.m.

Wrestling

The following athletes have been named L-L wrestlers of the week. In Section One, Manheim Township junior Cortlandt Schuyler (126 pounds) earned his 100th career win in the PIAA District Three team championships.

In Section Two, Manheim Central's Tyler Rhoads major decisioned Warwick's Steve Wooley, 16-8, at 160.

In Section Three, Annville-Cleona's Phil Corle (126) earned his 100th career victory during the league tournament.

L-L boys' hoops playoffs set

The Lancaster-Lebanon League boys' basketball playoffs are set.

All L-L playoff games are 7 p.m. starts.

Following are Monday's first-round matchups:

Section Four runner-up Lancaster Mennonite (15-7) at Section One champion McCaskey at McCaskey (20-2);

In the other half of the bracket, Section Three champion Donegal (22-0) hosts Section Two runner-up Lebanon (13-9);

In the other bracket, Section Two champion Elizabethtown (16-6) hosts Section Three runner-up Lampeter-Strasburg (15-7);

In the lower half of that bracket, Section Four champion Lancaster Catholic (16-6) hosts Section One runner-up Cedar Crest (14-8).

The winners of the Mennonite-McCaskey and Lebanon-Donegal playoffs meet in Wednesday's semifinal round at Conestoga Valley.

The winners of the L-S at E-town and Crest at Lancaster Catholic games will meet Wednesday at Hempfield.

Manheim Township will host Friday's championship game.
