Anna W. ButzerAnna (Wagner) Butzer, 82, of Lancaster, went to be with the Lord Jesus on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at home. Born in Columbia, she was the wife of the late John M. Butzer, who died January 18, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Robert S. and Evelyn (Kunkel) Wagner. Surviving are three children, John Thomas, Dianne, wife of Michael Paparo and Cynthia, wife of James Lang, of Buckley, Washington; 5 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 1 step-great-grandson; two sisters, Gloria V. McClair and Norma J. Johnson. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Thomas J. Wagner, Roberta Gerfen and Evelyn J. Stoppard. She retired after 23 years from Burnham Corporation as an Executive Secretary in 1995. She also had worked as a tour guide for Root?s and Brunswick Tours for 40 years. She was very blessed to have both jobs which she loved. She was an active member of Hempfield United Methodist Church. She was notorious for making homemade fudge at church and was a camp counselor at Mt. Gretna for 10 years.Anna?s Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Hempfield United Methodist Church, 3050 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17601 on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 11 AM (Visitation 10-11 AM). Private interment will be in the Silver Spring Cemetery, Silver Spring, PA at a later date. Kindly omit flowers.
