Dismayed by violator

TO THE EDITORS:

As a lifelong dog fancier, I read with dismay and disgust that former state Game Commissioner Stephen Mohr pled guilty to animal cruelty and neglect for the treatment of his own dogs and was cited for a dog-license violation.

As president of United Sportsmen of Pennsylvania, he should be setting a better example for all dog owners.
