TO THE EDITORS:

With all the wonderful thank you letters in the newspaper from folks who were fortunate to receive their meals paid for in a restaurant by anonymous person, I was compelled to write my own appreciation letter for a gift of two $100 bills that fell out of a lovely Christmas card in December, only to be signed by "God Bless You!"

I sat and cried for a while, trying to think of who would be so generous and kind to give me this monetary gift. I don't feel deserving of this, but it was a welcome gesture because I have a sick older dachshund age who is on a very expensive drug for the rest of her life.

I have lost sleep over this "person of interest" due to my need to express my "gratitude" regarding this "power of giving."

So may God bless this truly unselfish human being for sharing this "bounty" with me, my dog and my fantastic veterinarian, Dr. Haver.
