March for Life shows a force for change

TO THE EDITORS:

I wrote this letter as I watched the March for Life on the Eternal Word TV Network.

A sea of humanity, estimates ranged from 500,000 to 650,000, marched to the Supreme Court. The faithful came from all over America and beyond, representing all religions, including "atheists for life.''

Restrictions on abortions state by state will eventually shut down abortion clinics. There have been 55 million babies killed since Jan. 22, 1973.

Dr. Bernard Nathanson, who had performed 1,000 abortions, realized the error of his ways, repented and became a Christian. He said that he had believed the lies of Planned Parenthood. He made a film called "The Silent Scream,'' which showed the horrific details of an actual abortion.

Planned Parenthood and the media would like us to believe that the majority of Americans support keeping abortion legal.

That's not true. At a dark time in America, slavery was legal and women could not vote. Because these things were legal did not make them right. Right is right, even if no one believes it, and wrong is wrong, even if everyone believes it.

Abortion is always the wrong choice. God help us.
