Ruth M. Sweigart

Ruth Sweigart, 85, formerly of Reinholds, died Feb. 3, 2013, in Ephrata Manor. Born in West Reading, a daughter of Edwin and Elizabeth (Killinger) Wenrich. Her husband, William L. Sweigart, died Jan. 8, 1981. A woman of strong faith, she was member of Emmanuel Mennonite Church, Reinholds, and attended the Ephrata Manor Chapel services where she sang with the choir. Ruth enjoyed singing, country music and reading. She worked at A. N. Wolf Shoe, Denver, and Wilbur Chocolate, Lititz. Surviving: son, Larry L. (Sharon Royer) Sweigart, Ephrata; granddaughters, Denise L. Martin & Lori A. Munoz; 3 step-grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Colamarino, Ephrata; Anna Ponessa, Lebanon; and Rose Hoch, Elizabethtown; and brothers, Edwin Wenrich Jr., Schuylkill Haven; and Frank Noecker, Orwigsburg. A step-son, Roger Sweigart, and sister, Mary Killinger, predeceased her. FUNERAL: Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2 PM, Good Funeral Home, Reamstown. BURIAL: Memory Gardens. VIEWING: Wednesday 1-2 PM.
