Rachel Lustig Stauffer

Rachel Lustig Stauffer, D.D. S., age 79, of 2901 Harrisburg Pike, Landisville, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2013, at Oak Leaf Manor North.Born in Ephrata, PA, she was the daughter of the late Enos and Ida Zimmerman Stauffer.Rachel graduated from Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, VA. with a B.S. degree and received her Doctor of Dental Science degree from Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland, OH. She retired in 2004 from her East Earl Family Dentistry office, which she founded and operated.Her memberships included Community Mennonite Church of Lancaster and the American Dental Association, of which she was a member since 1967.Her hobbies and interests included gardening, walking, reading, board games, bird watching, classical music, singing and traveling.A son, Benjamin Lustig, husband of Kate Granger, of Landisville; granddaughter Demi Granger; two sisters Mable Colofen, of Ephrata; Minerva Cook, wife of Paul, of Ontario, Canada and a daughter-in-law Michelle Stortz, of Philadelphia survive Rachel. Preceding her in death was a son Jonathan Lustig; a sister Anna Reiff and four brothers: Paul, Ivan, Aaron and Titus Stauffer.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Rachel?s Life Celebration Memorial Service at Community Mennonite Church of Lancaster, 328 W. Orange St., Lancaster, PA, on Saturday, February 9, 2013, at 2:00 P.M. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 1:00 PM until time of service. Memorial contributions may be sent in Rachel?s name to Alzheimer?s Association GPA, 3544 N.
