Saima Trout Ures

Saima Trout Ures, 91, of Wernersville, formerly of Ephrata and Leesport, passed away February 3, 2013 at 10:00 pm in Phoebe Berks Health Care Center. She was preceded in death by her first husband Carl Trout, February 25, 1964 and her second husband Voldemar Ures, June 4, 2011. Born in Tallinn, Estonia, she was the daughter of the late Elmar and Alma (Mikk) Kruusvee.She was a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ephrata and was employed as a receptionist at Leesport Bank for 30 years retiring in 1986. Mrs. Ures served as School Director for Schuylkill Valley School District for five years. She was past treasurer of the Schuylkill Valley Ambulance Association, former member of the National Safety Deposit Association, past treasurer of the Lancaster County AARP and was currently a member of the Leesport Area Historical Society. She loved to travel and spend time with her family. Mrs. Ures is survived by her daughter Ena C. (Trout) Bieber wife of Ronald E. Bieber of Sinking Spring, her grandchildren Jeffrey A. Bieber husband of Jodi B. Bieber of Muhlenberg Township and Wendy E. Kellogg wife of Doug L. Kellogg of Lititz. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Dylan Bieber, Alexis Kellogg and Johnathan Kellogg.Services from Bean Funeral Home, 129 East Lancaster Ave., Shillington Friday, February 8, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Jeffrey H. Goodman officiating. Interment Forest Hills Memorial Park.
