Elizabeth A. Yoder
Elizabeth A. Yoder, age 87 formerly of Leola, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at the Genesis Nursing Center, Hamilton Arms of Lancaster. She was born in Belleville, PA, daughter of the late Levi A. & Cora E. Yoder Yoder. She was an active member of Forest Hills Mennonite Church of Leola, where she was a member of the Women?s Sewing Group. She retired after 31 years from the Lancaster General Hospital Dietary Department. She enjoyed baking and listening to music. She was very generous and enjoyed helping others. Surviving are 5 siblings: Crist A. husband of Shirley Davis Yoder of Huntingdon, PA, Lina S. wife of Ted Hughes of Souderton, PA, Alpha K. husband of Violet Stoltzfus Yoder of Christiana, Pius L. Yoder husband of Barbara King of Lancaster, Levi A. husband of Barbara Henry Yoder of Ephrata, nieces & nephews, great & great great nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by 4 siblings: Fannie E., Clara M., Samuel L. & Daniel E. Yoder. A memorial service will take place from the Forest Hills Mennonite Church, 100 Quarry Road, Leola, PA on Saturday, March 9th at 11 a.m. with Pastor Cheryl Hollinger officiating. The family will greet friends following the memorial service. Interment will be private in the Maple Grove Mennonite Cemetery.
