Ephrata police are investigating a string of daylight burglaries.

According to Ephrata Detective Brad Ortenzi, over the last two-and-a-half weeks, four residences on Highland Avenue, West Chestnut Street and Park Avenue have been forcibly entered, all while the homeowners are at their jobs. Items taken include jewelry and electronics.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Ortenzi at 738-9200, ext. 243, or Lancaster City/County Crime Stoppers at (800) 322-1913. Tips also may be sent to Crime Stoppers via cell phone. Text LANCS and the tip to 847411. Callers may remain anonymous.
