GRADUATIONS DEAN'S LIST HONORS
n Stephen Esco McBay of Honey Brook was awarded a bachelor of arts degree in communication from the University of Memphis on Dec. 16.
n Dustin L. Martin of Stevens received a bachelor of arts degree in history and certification in social studies secondary education, summa cum laude, from Grove City College on Dec. 18.
The son of Clifford and Carol Martin, he is a 2009 graduate of Cocalico High School.
n Two local residents received undergraduate degrees from Penn State Brandywine in Media on Dec. 21.
They are Alex Della Ragione of Oxford, a bachelor of science degree in information sciences and technology; and Amanda Seay of Honey Brook, a bachelor of science degree in human development and family studies.
n Zachary Mellinger received his doctorate in material science from the College of Engineering at the University of Delaware on Jan. 6.
The son of Heather Harshaw Mellinger and Jere Lee Mellinger, both of Lancaster, he is a graduate of Conestoga Valley High school and holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Delaware.
He now lives in Hockessin, Del., with his wife, Christine.
n Olivia Strothers was named to the dean's list for the fall semester at the University of Central Florida, Orlando, Fla., where she is a freshman studying business management.
A 2012 graduate of Hempfield High School, she is the daughter of Annette Frattarole of Lancaster and Michael Strothers of Mount Joy.
n Marissa Talbot of Lititz was named to the dean's list for the fall semester with a 4.0 grade-point average at the University of Pittsburgh, where she is a junior majoring in applied developmental psychology.
The daughter of Jim and Marianne Talbot, she is a 2010 graduate of Warwick High School.
n Two area students were named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Alfred University in Alfred, N.Y.
They are: Jeremy Weaver of Lancaster, a senior in the College Liberal Arts/Sciences, a graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School and the son of Christopher Weaver and Lisa Mertzman; and Charles Martin of Lititz, a senior majoring in art and design in the School of Art and Design, a graduate of Warwick High School and the son of Charles and Terry Martin.
n Ethan Henny of Lititz was named to the dean's list for the fall semester with a 4.0 grade-point average at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he is a senior majoring in criminology.
A graduate of Manheim Township High School, he is the son of Dr. Matthew and Jacqueline Henny.
n Leslie Henny of Lititz was named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Slippery Rock University, where she is a sophmore majoring in therapeutic recreation/adapted physical activity.
A graduate of Manheim Township High School, she is the daughter of Dr. Matthew and Jacqueline Henny.
n Allison N. Diamond was named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Medaille College in Buffalo, N.Y., where she is a junior pursuing a bachelor of science degree in veterinary technology.
Allison recently was awarded her associate's degree in the veterinary technician program of Medaille College, and last summer she passed her boards to obtain her license as a veterinary technician.
She is the daughter of Jack and Brenda Diamond of Bainbridge.
n Celeste Hershey was named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Lehigh University, where she is a senior majoring in architecture.
