Manor Township police released few new details Sunday about a Friday night shooting that left one man dead.

The incident occurred just before midnight in the 100 block of Oak Road.

Sgt. James Alexander said the name of the deceased was being withheld until an autopsy is completed today.

"There are some things we need to confirm -- things that might give us a better picture of what occurred before we move forward," Alexander said Sunday.

He said two other people were in the house at the time of the incident but declined to say what led to the shooting.

Alexander said the weapon has been recovered; no arrests have been made. Police have said they do not feel there is any threat to the public.
