Potshots at Biden, media
Reaction to Vice President Biden's comment that he was within "earshot" of the 2006 Nickel Mines shooting, a claim that could not be independently verified:
LMJ313: I'm sorry, but the only reason that this guy was not laughed off the national stage within the past two decades is because he's a liberal Democrat. This guy is the Binford Gaffo-matic 9000. He's told some of the most easily disproved whoppers. This story is just another drop in the bucket.
toejangle: Liberals always make up facts that support whatever topic they are speaking about, and the really sad part is they believe them and the press in this country has forgotten what their job is. If Bush had said this, it would be a media circus interviewing caddies and groundskeepers.
John D: You, like me and many others, have come to the true realization that the media is as corrupt as the government.
klg1956: The media of today are not truly media. They have been taught to stay within the "Delphi technique" box, just like the red professors taught them. Never ask a question that hasn't been approved by the professor beforehand and, if you stray, you will be punished (grades) and publicly degraded and humiliated. What does that say about critical thinking? It says critical thinking is dead.
nobux60: The problem is, the Constitution was written for lawyers by lawyers.
JT Sally: Not true. The Constitution was written as a shield against any future self-styled royalty. As for all the decoration added to it in the form of the U.S. public law, I wholeheartedly agree with you.
5ftflirt: The Constitution is not the problem. The way politicians try to twist it is the problem
M75462: The Framers were not all lawyers. They were patriots and revolutionary radicals, the last and only time that was a good thing.
nobux60: OK, the Constitution was written for lawyers by a few lawyers. Obama is a lawyer. He is a Constitutional lawyer. So far, he has gotten away with 99 percent of everything. He bypassed Congress because he (or other lawyers) cites what he does follows the Constitution, and nobody in Washington does anything about it.
