Peggy L. Baumgardner, 77, of Millersville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at LGH surrounded by her loving family. Born in Conestoga, PA, she was the wife of Charles H. Baumgardner, to whom she was married 60 years. She was the daughter of the late Chester and Mae (Sterneman) Campbell.Peggy was employed with the Exide Corporation for many years and went on to work for Shenk?s Extracts. She was an avid bowler, played bingo, enjoyed her home at Rehoboth Beach and going to her cabin in Potter County. She was of the Methodist faith.In addition to her husband, she is survived by her 2 ­sisters, Elmira Clare, wife of Floyd of Lancaster and Joanne Hurst, wife of Oliver of Manheim. She was preceded in death by her four sisters and two brothers.A Memorial Service will be at 11 AM on Monday, February 4, 2013 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St., Millersville, PA 17551. Family and friends will be received from 10-11 AM at the funeral home on Monday. Interment in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.
