Biden's tall tale

TO THE EDITORS:

Vice President Joe Biden hears gun shots. The article starts with, "It's no secret that Joe Biden has made more than a few gaffes in his political career."

A gaffe is a blunder; a total fabrication is a lie.

Unless Joe was golfing in a cornfield or a cow pasture, his comment to the Conference of Mayors was the latter.

How sad!
