Correction
Lampeter-Strasburg's J.D. Achille scored 22 points in Tuesday's 58-31 victory over Manheim Central. A correction to the box score was made by L-S officials after the game and the result was resubmitted Wednesday.
Wrestling
The champions in each weight class at the L-L League Tournament were recognized as Wrestlers of the Week. Section One winners included Solanco's Connor Sheehan (103), Isaac Warren (152) and Thomas Haines (220), Warwick's Josh Charles (113) and Manheim Township's Cortlandt Schuyler (126), Alex Smith (138) and Adam Smith (145). Section Two winners were Ephrata's Todd Dumas (120), Conestoga Valley's Lucas Ortiz (132), Garden Spot's Matt Christie (160) and Ben Swarr (170) and Lampeter-Strasburg's Jeff Pickel (195). The Section Three winner was Lancaster Catholic's Stephen Loiseau (182).
Swimming
Junior John Hughes (Lancaster Catholic) was named the University of Scranton Athlete of the Week after winning the 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.54), 200 breast (2:22.30) and swimming the breaststroke leg on the winning 200 medley relay in Saturday's win over Drew.
Wrestling
Thaddeus Stevens sophomore 125-pounder Matt Flynn was named the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference Athlete of the Week after going 4-0 with two pins in winning the Messiah Open title.
