FUNDRAISERS:
·Schreiber Pediatric Rehab Center's 31st Annual Volleyball Bash will be held Saturday, Feb. 23, at 9 a.m. at Millersville University's Student Memorial Fitness Center gymnasium, 1 S. George St.
Players of all ages and abilities can participate in the 12-hour event, which benefits the center.
Teams of six to 10 individuals must raise a minimum of $250 to compete. Individual players also can register for $25 and be assigned to a team.
Teams are scheduled for an hour and a half of playing time against teams of the same skill level. A variety of prizes will be awarded.
Spectators are welcome during the event. Millersville University's student station, WIXQ 91.7 The Ville, will provide music and trivia.

·A benefit for the Occupational Development Center Auxiliary will be held Thursday, Feb. 14, at the Rainbow Dinner Theatre, Paradise.
A buffet luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. followed by the play " Have I Got A Girl For You" at 1 p.m.
Cost is $35 per person. To reserve a seat, send a check payable to the ODC Auxiliary and mail it to Linda Gundy, 707 Darby Lane, Lancaster, PA 17601 by Feb. 8.

·The Lancaster County Young Republicans will host a fundraiser on Thursday, Feb. 7, at 6:30 p.m. at Mulberry Art Studios, 19-21 N. Mulberry St.
The evening will include live music, hor d'oeuvres and refreshments.
The fundraiser also will serve as a benefit for Milagro House, a transitional shelter for homeless mothers and their children that is funded solely by private donations.
There will be a silent auction of a print that has been donated by Rep. Joe Pitts. The money from this auction will go to Milagro House. Also, those attending are asked to bring products for Milagro House.
Cost is $40 for committee people or Young Republicans, $50 for others and $75 for couples.

MEETING: The Milk Duds 4-H Dairy Club will hold its reorganizational meeting Monday at 7 p.m. at the Farm & Home Center, 1383 Arcadia Road.
Those attending should bring a calendar and the completed double-sided enrollment form with parent signatures.
Club activities include taking part in dairy judging practices and competitions, fitting and showing workshop and the county show. Each meeting will have a different topic related to the dairy industry. The club is open to anyone between 8 and 18 by Jan. 1.
Anyone who can't attend the meeting should turn an enrollment form into the Extension Office prior to the meeting.

CELEBRATION: Relay For Life of Lancaster will hold a celebration reception for cancer survivors and caregivers, "Taste of Relay," on Thursday, Feb. 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. at CoreSource, 1280 N. Plum St.
Guest speakers will include Dr. Wafik El-Deiry of the Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute and DeeDee Grubb, Voices of Hope speaker and a four-time survivor of multiple myeloma.
Lancaster Relay for Life teams will provide appetizers, dinner, drinks and desserts.
Relay for Life of Lancaster will take place on June 7 at Conestoga Valley High School starting at 4 p.m.

COURSE: Garden Spot Village, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland, will hold a two-day course designed to increase driver safety.
"Coaching the Mature Driver" is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 11 and 12, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The National Safety Council program addresses risks and hazards on the roadway, defensive driving techniques and more. It is designed to help drivers over 55 adapt to technological innovations and to compensate for physical changes.
Participants may be eligible for auto insurance discounts on successful completion of the program.
Registration is $15. Participants must present a valid driver's license at the first class.

Clubs
POSTCARD: The Lancaster County Postcard Club will present a PowerPoint presentation on "Penn Square and Beyond" Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Manheim Township Public Library, 595 Granite Run Drive.
The program will focus on the Lancaster of yesteryear as seen through postcards. The featured speaker, Tom Beck, a long-time member of the club, will explore Lancaster's downtown the way it used to be.
Admission is free.
Health
GAMES/FAIR: Indoor senior games, and a health expo and health fair for those age 55 and older will be held next week in East Petersburg.
Heart of Lancaster Regional and Lancaster Regional medical centers are sponsoring the event Tuesday to Thursday at Lanco Fieldhouse, 1901 Miller Road, East Petersburg.
The event will feature senior games including badminton, bocce, rowing, horseshoes, target golf, a mile run, darts, chess and other games.
Giveaways and raffles will be featured, as well as demonstrations in cooking, golf, crafts and other topics. The event also will feature health screenings in blood pressure and blood sugar levels.
