Erla M. (Alexander) Stekervetz
Erla M. (Alexander) Stekervetz, 94, of Lancaster, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Manor Care, Lancaster. She was the wife of the late Chester H. Stekervetz, who died in 1998.Erla had worked as a sales clerk for the former M. T. Garvin & Co. and former W. T. Grant?s Department Store.Born on August 3, 1918 in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Evan G. and Mary (Rankin) Alexander. She was a member of Trinity E. C. Church, Lancaster. Surviving is one daughter, Marlene E. Morgan, of Lancaster; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy Sangrey, Ethel Jenkins and Grace M. Foutz.
