Dean R. Martin

Dean R. Martin, 41, went to live with Jesus on January 29, 2013.He was a dedicated family man and a loving husband and father. He was our biggest cheerleader and encourager. Dean loved to make us laugh. Dean loved to make breakfast every Saturday morning for his family.Dean loved the outdoors. He loved to hunt and fish with his children. While enjoying nature, he also became an avid photographer. He was a football and baseball fan, but he especially loved to watch his son play baseball. He was a coach for Little League.He attended Petra Christian Fellowship for many years. He served the people there through Men?s Ministry, Men?s Fraternity and ushering. He was a friend, inspiration and encourager to many. He loved to interact with people and had a way of including people wherever he went.Dean worked for Meadow Valley Electric, Inc., for over 20 years. He was a dedicated, hard worker.Dean is survived by his loving wife, Lucinda (Zook) Martin, and 3 children, Jasmine, Kyle and Sierra. In addition, he is survived by his parents, Leroy and Beulah (Rutt) Martin; his sister, Yvonne (Martin) Haller, wife of Kevin Haller, their 3 children, Brock, Bridget, Bronson; his brother, Neil Martin, husband of Lisa (Petersheim) Martin and their 4 children, Brianna, Brendon, Brooke and Brett; his parents-in-love, Ed and Ruth Zook; brother-in-law, Lewis Zook husband of Doris (Hess) Zook, their 3 children, Joshua, Talea and Brianna; sister-in-law, Lisa Fellenbaum, wife of Brian Fellenbaum, their 2 children, Shianne and Brooke; brother- in-law, Loren Zook, husband of Amy (Graber) Zook, their 5 children, Corey, Tessa, Emma, Tyler and Jaxson.A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 3, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Petra Christian Fellowship, 565 Airport Road, New Holland. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 4, at 6:30 p.m. at the church with Pastor Ken Reinford and ­Pastor Lester Zimmerman officiating.If desired, memorial contributions in Dean?s memory may be made to Guatemala Missions, c/o Petra Christian Fellowship, 565 Airport Road, New Holland, PA 17557 or Garden Spot Legion Ball, make checks payable to GSMAA Baseball, PO Box 527, Blue Ball, PA 17506.Interment will be private at the convenience of the ­family.Arrangements by Stradling Funeral Homes, Inc., Akron/Ephrata.
