Child abuse and moms

TO THE EDITORS:

Some thoughts and questions on men, women and children:

When a woman is so needy that she cannot be complete without a man in her life, and said woman introduces him to her children, and he, in turn, abuses them, or even worse, beats them to death, should she not also be guilty of abuse and murder?

A mother who does not seek help for her abused child for 18 hours and lets that child suffer and die is worse than the murderer himself.
