Martin S. "Junior" Hornig Jr., 90, of Duncannon passed away peacefully Monday, January 28, 2013 at Kinkora Home surrounded by his ­loving family.He was born on January 18, 1923 in Bird-in-Hand, Pennsylvania, to the late ­Martin S. Hornig Sr. and Mabel Smith.Martin was an Army Veteran, was retired from the Armstrong Floor Plant, a life member of AMVETS, and the Riverside Camping Association, and an avid fisherman and hunter.Surviving are his sons, James Thompson and wife Dianne of Massachusetts, and Larry Hornig and wife Kimberly of Duncannon; his daughters, Joann Leisey and husband Gerald of Ephrata and Nancy Bowers and husband Jay of Columbia, PA; 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.Arrangements are entrusted to Ronald C.L.
