Robber strikes at Manheim Twp. store

An armed man robbed a Manheim Township store Monday night, escaping with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber entered the Payless shoe store at 2058 Fruitville Pike around 7:27 p.m. He pointed a weapon at the clerks and demanded cash. After receiving the money, he fled on foot. No one was injured.

The man is described as Hispanic and in his late 20s or early 30s. He has a thin build and is about 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing a black hoodie and black pants. Witnesses said he had bruising around one eye and his nose.
