Russ Smith and Gorgui Dieng combined for 34 points and sealed the game with four free throws in the final 12 seconds as No. 12 Louisville ended a three-game losing streak with a 64-61 victory over visiting Pittsburgh on Monday night.

Smith finished with 20 points while Dieng had 14 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks for the Cardinals (17-4, 5-3 Big East).

Former McCaskey star Lamar Patterson scored 10 points for Pittsburgh (17-5, 5-4), which had its four-game winning streak stopped.

Kansas 61, West Virginia 56: Travis Releford and Jeff Withey both scored 15 points and No. 2 Kansas (19-1, 7-0) extended the nation's longest winning streak to 18 games. Aaric Murray led West Virginia (9-11, 2-5) with 17 points.

Delaware 66, Drexel 64: Kyle Anderson scored 15 points as Delaware (9-11, 4-3) snapped a three-game losing streak. Damion Lee hit a career-best 30 points on 10-of-21 shooting for the Dragons (8-12, 4-4).

Marquette 63, South Florida 50: Vander Blue scored a career-high 30 points as No. 25 Marquette (15-4, 6-1) moved into a first-place tie with Syracuse in the Big East.

Coleman sidelined: Syracuse freshman forward Dajuan Coleman will have a surgical procedure on his left knee today, the university announced in a release.

The 6-foot-9, 288-pound Coleman is expected to miss four weeks. He was averaging 5.0 points and 4.3 rebounds.
