Allwein, ASCSister Ann Louise Allwein, ASC, 89, died Saturday morning at St. Anne?s Retirement Community. Born in Lebanon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul A. and Anna Shay Allwein. Sister Ann professed as an Adorer of the Blood of Christ in 1946. Her ministries included teaching, spiritual direction and many years in ASC community service. She retired in 2004.Sister Ann is survived by her brother, Robert and sisters, Mary Sattazahn and Clare Barbini. Her siblings, Sister Mary Esdras, SSJ; Paul, Herman, James Joseph, John and Pierce preceded her in death. Sister Ann will be received in the chapel of St. Anne?s Retirement Community, 3952 Columbia Ave., Columbia, PA on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 9:00AM followed by the recitation of the Rosary. A wake service will be held at 10:00AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30AM with the Rev. Ernest Krantz, C.PP.S Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph?s Convent Cemetery.
