M.E. Kathleen Wike
M.E. Kathleen Wike, age 93, of 153 W. Frederick St., Millersville, PA, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013, at Lancaster General Hospital.Born in Staunton, VA, she was the daughter of the late Lillabourne A. and Mary M. Argenbright Ransbottom.Kathleen was a graduate of the former Lancaster Girls High School. She retired in 1982 having been employed in the food service department of Millersville State Teachers College.Kathleen was of the Methodist faith.A son, Dale Wike, husband of Connie, of Lancaster; two daughters: Phyllis M. Preston, of Brogue, PA; Dolores A. Erbe, of Rochester, NY and six grandchildren: Debora L. Hoffmaster, Kelly E. Preston, Colleen A. Penny, Denise A. Erbe, John A. Erbe, Jennifer E. Wike survive her. Also surviving are nine great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son William G. Wike, two brothers and a sister.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Kathleen?s Life Celebration Funeral Service at the Funeral Home of Fred F. Groff, Inc., 234 W. Orange St., Lancaster, PA, on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 11:30 AM. Entombment will be in Conestoga Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Friday from 10:30 AM until time of service.
