Foundation meddles in local affairs
TO THE EDITORS:
If the members of the Freedom From Religion Foundation devoted as much time to worthwhile causes such as helping victims of the national disasters, which have struck our country recently, instead of trying to destroy a tradition which has been a part of this country since it was founded, we would have a much better country.
I haven't seen where any of their members have volunteered to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
I don't see why they should be concerned what the Elanco school board, a thousand miles from them, does at its meetings.
Eighteen-thousand out of 300 million people dictating what we can do? Whatever happened to majority rules?
There's a day of reckoning coming and it's sooner than they think.
