Respectful gun owners

TO THE EDITORS:

Being taught to hunt can be one of the best ways to educate our children to guns.

Learning to harvest an animal teaches a child respect for what a gun can do and the value of life.

When taught the safe handling of a gun, shooting, tracking and recovering an animal with a parent are experiences that are cherished forever.

Many generations of hunters have produced respectful gun owners in this family.
