F&M hosts lecture by Navy climate expert

A senior official in the U.S. Military's Center for Naval Analyses who studies climate change will discuss environmental and energy security at a public talk Thursday at Franklin & Marshall College.

The talk by Sherri Goodman will be at 11:30 a.m. in Mayser Gymnasium on the campus.

Goodman, senior vice president and general counsel of CNA, also is executive director of the National Security and Threat of Climate Change project, a military advisory board.

She is the author of "The Neutron Bomb Controversy: A Study in Alliance Politics."

Goodman has served as an adjunct lecturer in international affairs and security and adjunct research fellow at Harvard University, where she received both a law degree and a master's degree in public policy.
