Fathers can take responsibility

TO THE EDITORS:

In the Jan. 22 issue, the "Ugly truth about abortion'' and the "Perpetuating abortion myths,'' letters were printed. Both writers neglected to inform the readers of an important medical fact that will stop abortions.

I know mothers who are blessed with the children they wanted and they never entered an abortion clinic for abortion services. These loving mothers may attend a pro-life church honored with newborn infants in their crowded church nursery.

There is a medical procedure for the father called a "vasectomy.'' It is seldom mentioned by the media.

Remember, it takes a father to make a child. A vasectomy is a minor surgical procedure that will make a father unable to father any more children
