Lewis scores first pro goal

Lititz native Trevor Lewis, playing in his third East Coast Hockey League game Friday night, scored his first goal as a pro and added a pair of assists to lead the Cincinnati Cyclones to a 7-3 victory over Evansville.

Lewis was named the No. 1 star of the game for his efforts.

Lewis' goal gave the Cyclones a 1-0 lead in the first and he added an assist later in the first and one in the second. He finished as a plus-three for the game.

Lewis, who played Division I hockey at Robert Morris, was signed by the Reading Royals in the offseason. While playing for the Royals in a preseason game, he suffered a shoulder injury. He rehabbed through most of the fall and early winter. By the time he was cleared to play, there was no room for him in the Reading lineup because the Royals had gotten off to a hot start.

Eight days ago, he was dealt to Cincinnati, where he has played three games.
