Davies CadwalladerAlice Aurora Davies Cadwallader, age 92, a resident of the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, PA and formerly of Forty Fort, PA passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster, PA.Born in Wilkes-Barre, Alice was the daughter of the late Taliesin and Aurora English Davies. She was a graduate of E. L. Meyers High School and Wyoming Seminary?s Dean School of Business.Alice was a former member of Forty Fort United Methodist Church, Forty Fort, PA.Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were brothers, George E. Davies and Burton T. Davies; sister, Ruth Davies Aston; nephew, Burton Davies.Surviving are her husband of 68 years, Harold Williams Cadwallader, Elizabethtown; daughters, Susan Cadwallader Erb and husband, Gary L., Downingtown, PA; Jane Cadwallader Keller and husband, William J., Jr., Red Lion, PA; two grandchildren, Amanda K. Dansberry and husband, Michael T., Red Lion, PA and William J. Keller III, Red Lion, PA; one great-grandson, Ascher William Dansberry, Red Lion, PA; nephew, David W. Aston and former wife, Ann F. Aston; two nieces, Alice Baggett and Joan Richard.Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 1:00 PM from the Harold C. Snowdon Home for Funerals, Inc., 420 Wyoming Avenue, Kingston, PA 18704. Reverend Dr. Philip T. Wanck will officiate. Interment will be made in Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville. Friends may call Saturday from 12 Noon until time of service at the funeral home.Contributions in Alice?s name may be made to the charity of the donor?s choice.
