MANHEIM TWP.: A resident of the first block of Northgate Lane reported that their alarm was activated while they were inside the house at 8:35 p.m. Wednesday. A window was found open and the screen had been cut to gain access, but no entry was made.
LANCASTER: A shotgun, a laptop, $1,200 cash and sneakers were stolen from a home in the 300 block of Mill Street during the day on Tuesday. Loss is $2,050.
LANCASTER: Damage totaling $500 was done to a double-pane window of a home in the 200 block of Pitney Road early Tuesday morning. Nothing was reported stolen.
COLERAIN TWP.: A checkbook and $150 were taken between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday from a home in the 5700 block of Street Road.
LANCASTER: Copper pipe, a lawn mower and two plastic gas cans were stolen between 3 and 6:15 p.m. Sunday from the 100 block of Nevin Street.
LANCASTER: A laptop, 14 hats, four hooded sweatshirts and cash were taken overnight Saturday from a business in the 1000 block of Dillerville Road. A front glass door was broken to gain entry. Loss was $1,274.
BRECKNOCK TWP.: Car parts and stereo equipment valued at $975 were stolen Jan. 15 from a garage in the 1900 block of Bowmansville Road. The suspect fled in a 1990s blue Dodge Neon with black rims, state police said.
LITITZ: Police said several vehicles were damaged overnight Saturday in the borough.
LITITZ: A mirror was broken off a vehicle Jan. 17 in the first block of East Lincoln Avenue.
EAST DRUMORE TWP.: Brandon Fullmer, no age given, of Lancaster, was charged after an incident at a home in the 700 block of Center Road on Dec. 28. State police say he kicked a door, yelled and threw a wooden Santa that shattered a window.
MANHEIM: Jorge E. Rodriguez-Silva, 21, of Lebanon, was charged after a Dec. 20 traffic stop on East Main Street at Market Square.
MANOR TWP.: Carl Lindeman Jr., 51, of Indian Marker Road, Millersville, was charged after crashing his motorcycle Dec. 11 in the 700 block of Letort Road.
MANHEIM: Madeline Martinez, 50, of the 600 block of Mallard Drive, was charged after she gave police false information after a Nov. 27 traffic accident on South Oak Street at East Stiegel Street.
LANCASTER: Cassandra L. Nelson, 34, of the 500 block of West King Street, was charged after she allegedly pushed, slapped and punched a man Jan. 18 at her home.
SALISBURY TWP.: Jennifer Baker, no age given, of West Lawn, was charged Jan. 12 after an altercation in the 400 block of Lynch Road.
BRECKNOCK TWP.: A vehicle struck a wire supporting a utility pole on Gehman School Road at Dry Tavern Road at 5:50 a.m. Wednesday, causing the pole to break and its electricity wires to snap, state police said. The vehicle fled east from the scene.
Police ask anyone with information to call 299-7660.
LEBANON CO.: A Cornwall man was assaulted during a road rage incident Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. on Route 72 at Route 322, Cornwall Borough police said. The 61-year-old exchanged gestures with the driver of a white BMW sedan after a lane-change maneuver.
Both vehicles pulled off to the side of the road and the BMW driver walked up to the man and either punched him or struck him with an object on the side of his face, police said. He briefly lost consciousness, but then drove home and called police.
The victim was taken to Hershey Medical Center for treatment of facial injuries, police said. The BMW driver drove away south on Route 72. Police ask anyone who saw the incident or knows the BMW driver to call 274-2071.
MILLERSVILLE: Bruce R. Fry, 63, of York, was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct after an altercation with a woman in Millersville Dec. 22.
LANCASTER: A 25-year-old man at Water Street Mission, 210 S. Prince St., called city police Monday night to report that he gave a 20-year-old man $15 to buy "weed" and the man took his money and ran toward South Water Street without giving him marijuana.
Then the caller said, "I never should have called. I'm sorry," police reported. The officer told him to stop using drugs.
LANCASTER: A Hispanic female described as 20 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a heavy build, allegedly took two gold rings with cubic zirconia diamonds off a counter when the clerk wasn't looking Sunday at Silver & Gold Connection, Park City Center. Loss is $169.98. The suspect was wearing a brown coat and brown sweatshirt.
LANCASTER: A GPS, laptop and cash were among items stolen from three vehicles broken into Saturday at the Duke Street Parking Garage.
MILLERSVILLE: A resident of the 200 block of West Frederick Street reported the theft of a $2,000 computer on Saturday.
LANCASTER: Michelle L. Sparacio, 25, of Reading, was charged with taking two pairs of pants and a shirt for an infant Tuesday from J.C. Penney at Park City Center. Loss is $34.
LANCASTER TWP.: Jennifer C. Johnson, 27, of Jennings Drive, was charged Tuesday after she did not pay for a $30 cab drive from Columbia to Jennings Drive.
MANHEIM TWP.: Ashley M. Sierra, 24, of Waterford Court, on Tuesday took $44 worth of merchandise at Walmart, 2030 Fruitville Pike, police said. She drove away from the store, but was stopped by police nearby and arrested.
BRECKNOCK TWP.: Anthony V. Pfund, 23, of New Holland, and Danielle Bennett, 23, of Morgantown, were charged Tuesday as the result of an investigation involving Nolts Auto Parts, 1016 Dry Tavern Road. While employed at the business, Pfund made 68 fraudulent returns for inventory he didn't purchase, state police said. The incidents occurred from October 2011 to August 2012 and funds were put into a bank account he shared with Bennett. Pfund was charged with theft by deception, Bennett with receiving stolen property. Both were arraigned Tuesday and released after posting bail.
LANCASTER: Michael Rosario-Reyes, 18, of the 2000 block of New Holland Pike, was cited with taking two bracelets at Spencer's Gifts at Park City Center on Monday. Loss $15.98.
MANHEIM TWP.: An employee of Rosa Rosa Pizzeria, 1040 Harrisburg Pike, on Jan. 13 saw Jason A. Luthy, 38, of Hardy Court, place empty beer kegs into a waiting vehicle behind the business, police said. When confronted, the vehicle drove away, leaving Luthy behind. The employee detained Luthy until police arrived. Luthy was turned over to the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office on an outstanding bench warrant. During the arrest, a hypodermic needle was found in his possession, police said. He was charged with theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Loss $30.
RAPHO TWP.: Anne L. Hill, 61, of Harrisburg, was charged with removing a purse from a vehicle Jan. 4 in the 400 block of Cove Road and keeping it for about two weeks.
PARADISE TWP.: James I. McAllister, 38, of Lancaster, was driving east on Route 30 Wednesday morning, state police said. His car moved into the westbound lane and struck the trailer axles of a tractor-trailer driven by Timothy Schweers-Cooper, 38, of Elizabethtown.
McAllister was taken to Lancaster General Hospital with a moderate injury. Schweers-Cooper was not injured. McAllister was cited with a traffic violation.
