TO THE EDITORS:

Give credit where credit is due. To an all-wise and knowing God, to a Manheim Township early-response team, to a Manheim Township EMT team who swarmed over me to save my life on Dec. 15, 2012, I give you my profound thanks.

I certainly would be remiss if I did not mention the emergency room at Lancaster General Health. I can write this note of appreciation now, because, at the time, I was unconscious and near death, from a massive heart attack.

Thanks to a gracious God and the above-mentioned personnel, I have some time to spend with my wife and sons.

May everyone be appreciative of the merciful God and care we have available.
