·The Upper Leacock Township War Memorial Association will hold an indoor flea market/garage sale on Saturday, Feb. 2, from 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Veterans Hall of the War Memorial Building, 54 W. Main St., Leola.
More than 35 vendors will feature items such as crafts, children's toys, period jewelry, socks, collectibles, gift items, Avon, Longaberger baskets, seasonal arrangements, tools, fresh fruit and traditional flea market bargains.
There is no admission charge.
Proceeds from the flea market are used for the ongoing maintenance and repair of the War Memorial Building.

·Montessori Academy of Lancaster, 2750 Weaver Road, will hold an open house on Thursday, Jan. 31.
Interested parents, grandparents or guardians of children age 20 months through sixth grade are invited to learn more about the school.
The open house will include a tour and an explanation of the Montessori philosophy. The elementary presentation will begin at 5:45 p.m. and the toddler/preschool presentation at 6:20 p.m.

The open houses begin at 6:30 p.m. with an information session, followed by guided tours, curriculum displays and time to meet the teachers. Kindergarten and preschool families will have the opportunity to see a typical day in the classroom.
