Accountability is paramount

TO THE EDITORS:

Having worked for Naval ammunition for 17 years, I can tell you that weapons and ordnance accountability in the military is paramount. Their regulation is essential for safety.

Is it too much to ask for similar accountability in the civilian sector? I know we can do this.
