Hempfield Democrats offer $500 scholarship
The Hempfield Area Democratic Committee is accepting applications for a $500 scholarship for students who will be pursuing a post-secondary education.
Applicants can be students at any Lancaster County high school, but must be a resident of the Hempfield area.
Applications are due Feb. 20 and can be downloaded at hempfielddemocrats.org/scholarship_app.pdf.
The scholarship will be awarded based on a student's application, short essay and brief interview.
