Roe has helped free women
To the Editors:
For all the good it has done and all the bad it has prevented, I, along with the Republican Majority for Choice, Catholics for Choice, NARAL Pro-Choice America, the National Organization for Women, the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Rights and countless other women's legal and rights organizations, thank Planned Parenthood and the Supreme Court for upholding Roe v. Wade for liberating women from slavery, forced unwanted pregnancies, ill health and even death.
It has provided women and their families with numerous affordable health services. Those have enabled families to cope with the expenses of raising healthy, educated and productive citizens, improving society in so many ways.
Those improvements have and will save our tax money.
I thank Planned Parenthood for helping so many families in these hard economic times.
