Ruthie's has opened a new women's boutique in Ronks at 2821 Lincoln Highway East.
The roughly 3,000-square-foot store is the third for owner Ruth Carpenter, who also has shops in Bird-in-Hand and Intercourse.
While those stores also carry T-shirts and stuffed animals, the new Ronks store focuses exclusively on fashions aimed for women in their 30s and older. It also has jewelry, handbags, scarves and shoes.
Carpenter says the store carries a variety of brands, including Tribal, Erin London and Janska. The shop, which is in the complex with Miller's Smorgasbord, is in a space that was originally built for a Van Heusen store.
Carpenter opened her first store some 14 years ago in Bird-in-Hand, specializing in T-shirts. The Intercourse store opened about six years ago.
In addition to being the largest store, the new Ronks location also will serve as the hub for the stores because of its storage space on the second floor. It has three employees.
