Lt. Gov.: And then there were four

Jim Cawley  Chet Beiler Steve Johnson Russ Diamond

This should be interesting: pa2010.com reports that Joe Watkins is dropping out of the GOP race for lieutenant governor. That leaves the party’s endorsed candidate, Jim Cawley, and three others including Penn Township businessman Chet Beiler, York County businessman Steve Johnson and reform leader Russ Diamond. Watkins, according to pa2010, was seen by many as the most viable challenger to the establishment candidate. Who fills that role now? Beiler, who finished second to Cawley at the state GOP’s endorsement convention earlier this month? Diamond? Johnson?
