City cycling survey

The recently formed Coalition for a Bicycle Friendly Lancaster, a group assisting Lancaster city officials develop a plan to make the city a more cycling friendly community, has posted a survey to get input from cyclists who ride in the city.
The survey, at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/lancasterbikesurvey, asks questions such as what changes cyclists would like to see made to improve riding conditions, if cyclists consider riding in the city safe and if cycling eduction should be provided. With the general questions are areas where cyclists can offer specific comments about individual streets, what city laws should be changed or even what cyclist behaviors should be restricted. Riding at night without lights or failing to obey traffic signals are two examples given.
The responses will help craft a city bicycling transportation plan. All city cyclists are encouraged to respond.
