Mmmm …. donuts

The Lehigh Wheelmen are holding their annual end-of-season Donut Derby Monday morning, with a mass start beginning at 9 a.m. from the Valley Preferred Cycling Center.
There are stops at the 12 and 24 mile points in the 36-mile fun race. At each stop, riders can eat donuts and receive a three-minute time bonus for each donut consumed. Those who consume – and keep down – the most donuts receive the coveted “gut buster” award.
Advance registration is closed, but day-of registration opens at 7:30 a.m. Monday. Same-day registration fee is $25. Registration includes a $5 voucher for lunch at the velodrome.
