A Rapho Township man is facing a lifetime behind bars after being convicted last week in federal court of making child pornography, officials said.

John Graham Disney, who turned 60 today, took numerous photographs and made lewd films of a teenage girl at his home in summer 2011, according to officials.

A jury convicted him after an eight-day trial in federal court in Allentown, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Sherri Stephan.

The jury deliberated about 80 minutes before returning guilty verdicts on six counts: four counts of production of child pornography and two counts of possession of child pornography.

U.S. District Court Judge James Knoll Gardner will order sentence June 27.

Disney is facing a mandatory 15-year prison term, but federal guidelines warrant a potential life sentence, according to Stephan.

Pennsylvania State Trooper Chad Roberts opened the investigation in 2011 and eventually referred prosecution to the U.S. Attorney's office.

Police seized a MacBook Pro computer and a Nikon digital camera from Disney's former home at 6999 Elizabethtown Road. They found numerous illegal photographs and videos of Disney engaged in sex acts with the girl.

Disney met the girl through an adult acquaintance, according to officials.
