The Blockbuster Video store in the Shoppes of Kissel Village is closing Saturday, Feb. 23. The store, at 1054 Lititz Pike, Suite B, was one of the original businesses when the shopping center first opened in 2000.

Also, the Blockbuster Video store in Ephrata's Cloister Shopping Center is slated to close April 7, a store manager said.

Once those two stores close, the chain's movie-rental store in Manor Shopping Center will be the only remaining Blockbuster in Lancaster County. As recently as 2009, there were 13 Blockbusters in Lancaster County.

The recent local closings are among 300 stores that Blockbuster owner Dish Network Corp. announced in January.

Blockbuster, which filed for bankruptcy in September 2010 was bought by Dish Network in April 2011.
