Newlyweds Bobbie Donnell and Frank Thomas — who've known each other since the late 1950s — pose after getting married Saturday at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel. The Donnell and Thomas families lived near each other in Manheim Township, and kept in touch after the Donnells moved to New Jersey in 1967. Bobbie Donnell's husband passed away 10 years ago, said her son Clayton Donnell, and Frank Thomas became a widower about six years ago. Their friendship grew into love, and the wedding took place — appropriately — just five days before Valentine's Day. The bride and groom, both in their 80s, live in Lancaster city. Between them, they have five children, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
