A woman was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Earl Township on Friday.

New Holland Police said a sport utility vehicle driven by Elizabeth Larkin, 80, of Kinzers, pulled from a stop sign at New Holland and Summitville roads, and into the path of a pickup truck driven by Daniel Glick Jr., 34, of Gordonville.

Firefighters from Garden Spot Fire Rescue freed Larkin from the SUV following the noon crash, and she was taken to the hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.

The pickup truck driver was not injured.

n No one was injured in a one-car wreck with rollover along Route 322 in East Earl Township on Friday morning.

The motorist freed himself after his car rolled over and struck a wooden fence in the 4:35 a.m. crash in front of 5010 Division Highway, near Springville Road (Route 897).

Jean Robert Labady, 52, of New Holland, was not injured, township police Chief Kevin McCarthy said. The investigation continues, but Labady likely will receive a traffic citation.
