Robbers broke into a Lancaster Township home, assaulted an occupant and stole items on Thursday afternoon, police said.

Three black males in their 20s wearing hooded sweatshirts broke a window in the front door of the home in the 300 block of South West End Avenue at around 12:30 p.m., Manheim Township police Sgt. Tom Rudzinski reported.

They entered and were confronted by a 62-year-old male relative of the homeowner.

The robbers assaulted him and put him in the basement, Rudzinski said. They stole electronics and sneakers and fled.

The loss amount has not been determined.

No arrests were made as of late Saturday morning, Rudzinski said.
