A motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle wreck Sunday in Elizabethtown, police reported Monday.

Timothy Evans, 48, of Elizabethtown, was traveling east on East Willow Street at about 2:30 a.m., Elizabethtown police said in a press release.

A car driven by Gregory Flick, 24, of Elizabethtown, was traveling north on North Spruce Street and the two vehicles collided at the intersection.

Police found Evans lying in the street, they said.

Deputy Coroner Robert Granzow pronounced Evans dead at the scene, according to Lancaster County Coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni.

An autopsy Monday revealed that Evans died from multiple traumatic injuries from the wreck, he said.

Flick was not injured, police said.

Evans was a Columbia native and graduated in 1982 from Pequea Valley High School, according to his obituary.

He is survived by his wife Patricia M. Winebrenner Evans, two step-daughters, Sonja Blewett and Dana Blewett, and his mother, Anna Mae Stanley Neuhauser. Evans worked as an auto parts salesman at GT Discount Auto Parts in Columbia.

The Northwest Lancaster County Crash Team is assisting with the investigation, police said. No other information about the wreck was available from police on Monday.

Police ask anyone with information to call them at 367-1835.
