The name of a woman killed in a single-car wreck on Route 30 near Columbia on Monday night was released Wednesday.

She was 41-year-old Georgia Lee Morris of Paradise, borough police Chief Jack Brommer said Wednesday.

Emergency personnel were called to the area of eastbound Route 30 near Ironville Pike at 9:12 p.m. Morris had been ejected from her car, Brommer said. Fire officials arriving at the scene immediately determined she was deceased, according to county radio communications.

Morris's red sedan was in the middle of the eastbound lanes facing the opposite direction, Brommer said.

Police are trying to determine the cause of the wreck, he said.
