Lancaster police were investigating the discovery of a woman's body Saturday in a vehicle at the Quickway Mini Mart parking lot on East King Street, near South Ann Street.

Police said Saturday night that substance abuse was being investigated as a possible factor in the death, but that they were not otherwise considering it suspicious.

Police did not release the identity of the person Saturday night.

An autopsy was expected to be performed.
